Slop Buster for X screens visible post text on X and displays compact SLOP, FACT, and LIKELY AI badges. The extension does not create, edit, publish, like, repost, or reply to posts.
The extension processes visible post text from x.com and twitter.com. It sends the selected post text to TypeSafe Jev so Jev can return screening scores. TypeSafe receives the text submitted for scoring under its own privacy terms.
The extension stores the user's TypeSafe API key in Chrome local storage. It also stores scan status, badge visibility choices, and sensitivity settings in Chrome local storage.
The extension does not read private messages, passwords, payment information, browsing history, location, contacts, account credentials, or unrelated websites. It does not sell user data. It does not use data for advertising, credit decisions, or lending decisions.
Local settings and the API key remain in Chrome local storage until the user clears the key, removes the extension, or clears extension data. Post text is sent to TypeSafe only to produce the requested screening response. TypeSafe's own retention and privacy practices apply to data processed by its service.
The TypeSafe API key is stored locally in the browser and is sent to TypeSafe over HTTPS when a scoring request runs. Users should treat API keys as sensitive credentials.
